Genital mutilation

I was reading Andrea's blog and that got me to thinking about something I had heard in the news about the muslim culture. I couldn't find a video on it but there is plenty of stuff on the web about genital mutilation of women: particularly in Africa and practiced in the muslim faith. I even read that some cultural groups will sew the women shut in their lower region to prevent them from having premarital sex.
