more on art

Wow! Andrea’s post was awesome. I think it is really cool when people can take a talent they have and use it in a way to earnestly express themselves. When I saw the guy poring the sand onto the glass I could see that he pored in such a way that it formed the outlines of what he wanted to do next.

Here is one of my favorite Christian comedians I think you guys will laugh.

So yeah that was funny. As an artist he has found his own voice and learned to express himself. Like the guy with the sand he has developed a very unique style. He came to my church once and unfortunately I did not get to meet him. My kid sister did though and told him that I was a big fan. She told me that he admitted that he is not a super well known performer. He relies on a select audience to keep his performances afloat.

I think that the main basis for his comedy and music is that it is something the whole family can enjoy together. Here is one of my favorite green day parodies.

Ok so you can’t tell me that wasn’t hilarious. If you look up his other stuff on you tube, you will find that there is a lot of clean performances that parents can watch with their kids. I recall once walking through the block buster store and I heard some parents talking about the ratings on the movies their kids wanted to see. I believe this is still a big issue for parents today.
